Aero VIM GmbH operates a quality system accredited to ASA-100, the Aviation Suppliers Association's quality standard based on FAA Advisory Circular 00-56B for civil aircraft parts distributors. That means our procedures for receiving, inspecting, documenting, storing and shipping aircraft parts are independently audited — not just promised on a website. Aero VIM GmbH has held ASA-100 accreditation continuously since 2017 (Certificate No. 46881217-4).
The scope covers the full life of a part in our hands: supplier vetting before purchase, documented incoming inspection, controlled quarantine for discrepant material, protected storage, and certified packing and release.

Depending on part category, condition and origin, shipments include:
Authorized release certificate for units certified through FAA-approved organisations.
Authorized release certificate from EASA Part-145 maintenance organisations for overhauled and repaired units.
Manufacturer or distributor CoC for new parts, standard hardware and consumables.
Source trace to operator, OEM or approved distributor — back-to-birth for life-limited parts where required.
Confirmation that material has not been subjected to accident, incident, fire or military use, where applicable.
Our ATA-106-style material certification form accompanies every shipment, signed by quality personnel.
We buy only from audited, approved sources — operators, OEMs, authorised distributors and certified shops. Unknown sellers don't make the list because a price looked attractive.
Tags, release certificates and trace are verified against the physical unit and the purchase record before acceptance.
Every unit is physically inspected on receipt: identity, condition, shelf life, seals, preservation and packaging integrity — documented and signed.
Climate-controlled, access-controlled and ESD-safe storage; quarantine area strictly segregated for discrepant or suspect material.
Final document check, ATA-300-standard packing and full export documentation before anything leaves the building.
Suspected Unapproved Parts are reported, quarantined and never resold. If a part's history can't be proven, it doesn't ship — period.
We'll send the current ASA-100 certificate and completed vendor forms same day.
